Daniel thinks Rob's ring is cool. It's light and easy to hold and makes a cool sound on the floor. (Daniel couldn't find it because it rolled under the couch. It is now back safely on Rob's finger.)
He ran into something this week on the playground and came away with a scratch on his forehead. He now walks from the classroom to the car after daycare. He tried cheese triclore tortilini and liked it. In fact, the only food he won't eat so far is collard greens...but, he's also rejected mandarin oranges at school and he eats them like candy at home. So, maybe he'll eat the collards next time.
His four top teeth have cut through pretty much all at once. He's doing pretty well with it; we've only had to rub Oragel on his gums twice.
He's discovered that it's very fun to throw toys, books, and blankies over the gates that we have through the house. We tell him they're lost and let them lie where they land until he's forgotten about them.
And he's still doing very well with his 8 pm bedtime. He very rarely gives us trouble. There are some nights that he runs around like a maniac until 7:59, making us think, "well this is gonna be the night." But 8 pm, I put him in his crib, and he rolls over and goes right to sleep.
