28 Weeks

We bought a new universal remote today, so Rob programmed the old one for Daniel's TV. I was looking for the manual because Rob needed the model number, so Daniel hung out in his crib. Unbeknownst to me, Rob already had what he needed. Everything was SSDD until Rob was testing the new remote, he changed the channel, and then Larry the Cable Guy was front and center, in the middle of a skit about ladies underpants.

Daniel decided he just had to see what THAT was all about.

For those of you keeping score...this is the first time Daniel has pulled himself up on something other than us.

Today we got a baby gate for the bathroom, where we plan to move the litter box and cat food and water bowls. We also got a fence to put around his play mat to keep him confined now that he's starting to pull himself off of the mat. We got the new Daniel Jackson movie, Stargate Continuum, which we were watching until Daniel got hungry. And I got a new Apocalptica CD, which is currently the only band I care enough about these days to buy on CD. I even paid extra for DVD extras.

But you guys don;t care about all that. You just want to hear about the buddy-bear :)

He's very tired at the moment. All that pulling himself up in his crib wore him out.

He is a sweet little thing, isn't he! You are so lucky to already be giving first haircuts! We are looking at 18 months for our boy next month... and just now thinking he might need a haircut. Apparently we produce bald babies only!
