The Waiting Game

That's what my doctor calls it. The baby is now considered full term and he could come any time in the next three weeks. After my (quite uncomfortable) exam, she is pretty confident that it won't be this week. She said that I'm supposed to wait for contractions that are difficult to speak through that occur every five minutes for two hours...or my water breaking, whichever comes first. If it's during office hours, I call her first. If it's after hours, I call the on call doctor.
